KURZ‐KASCH, INC. ANNOUNCES CONSOLIDATION OF MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
COMPANY EXPANDS ITS GLOBAL MANUFACTURING FOOTPRINT INTO A NEW LOCATION IN MIAMISBURG, OHIO
Dayton, Ohio – September 30, 2008 – Kurz‐Kasch, Inc., a leader in custom coil winding and forming officially announced the creation of its new worldwide headquarters located at 511 Byers Road, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Kurz‐Kasch will consolidate two of its North American manufacturing facilities and corporate office into the new facility located in Miamisburg, Ohio. The move into the new facility also allows the company to expand its manufacturing footprint to accommodate the company’s new business growth. In addition to manufacturing, all corporate functions for sales, engineering, customer service and supply chain management will be consolidated into the Byers Road facility.
The manufacturing facilities affected by the consolidation include Wabash, Indiana and South Boston, Virginia. The Wabash facility will cease normal operations on November 7, 2008 and South Boston, Virginia on November 28, 2008. The consolidation of our facilities will be seamless to our customers over the next couple of months with no interruption of supply. The order process and payment method will remain unchanged during this transition. Our facilities at Wilmington, Ohio and Newcomerstown, Ohio are not affected by this consolidation.
